Herman Feil (PhD), CEO of TDI, is a polymer chemist. After graduating from the University of Twente, he completed his PhD research on controlled release of pharmaceuticals from polymer materials in Utah (USA). Afterwards, Herman went to work at the ATO-DLO research institute in Wageningen, as head of the Biopolymers and Carbohydrate Chemistry department. The department grew from 35 to 70 professional researchers, who focused on contract research especially for the agro-food and chemical industry. In 2001, Herman joined TDI and became co-owner. In this position, Herman is CEO of Thatchtec and CFO of Alloksys and Amrif.
