Wouter de Heij (MSc), CEO of TOP, is a chemical engineer and a graduate of Delft University. After having held a number of positions at Delft University and in the chemical industry, he switched to research institute ATO-DLO in 1998. He became one of the most important food technology experts in the institute bridging hard-core technology and food technology. Wouter is a renowned expert in food technology and minimal food processing. In 2006, he joined TDI, where he became co-founder of TOP BV. Wouter is an inventor of equipment applying novel processing technologies such as PEF, RF and AMAP packaging. He also is CEO of CWP and Zero Carb Company.
